Before my surgery, I met a great person who also had scoliosis and already had surgery. She was a great mentor; she helped me prepare for my surgery and was always there for encouragement. After my surgery, I decided to start my own scoliosis support group so I can hopefully be an encouragement to others dealing with scoliosis. I started my support group in 2010 and have made a few videos, a blog site, a twitter and facebook, and an email account so people can contact me however they want. I have wore a Milwaukee brace, had surgery, and have gone through lots of physical therapy. If you have any questions or just want to talk please feel free to contact me.
